I was wondering the same thing about bamboo bicycles and wooden bicycles in general for instance how does the bike feel down in San Diego compared to up in the Sierras. My educated guess would be that the natural dampening or softer ride would increase with the higher humidity and air pressure. I also think the bicycle would last longer up in the sierras.
